Advantages: A delicious chocolate bar from Cadbury.
Disadvantages: None.
As I am officially having a "snow day" (my kids school has been closed!), we have decided to have a treaty day in front of the television, this of course involves lots of nibbles and some crappy films, with the nibbles being the subject of this review!
The product I will now review is - "Cadbury's Wispa".
The reason I have this in front of me to review is due to us opening one of the many (7 in total!) selection boxes that we received at Christmas.
Wispa's come wrapped in the very familiar dark blue plastic wrap that I remember from my earlier years, combined with the vivid red writing these invoke many good memories of my youth!
The bar itself is what looks like a solid rectangular block of milk chocolate, with the sweet creamy smell being apparent from the second the bar is unwrapped.
Once you bite into the bar you will discover the aerated centre, making this bar deceptively light to eat, but still satisfying in a way that stops it from becoming too sickly.
The chocolate is of course perfect, but that is what you get from Cadbury's. Sweet, creamy it actually tastes like chocolate, but not bitter like some of the high percent chocolates, this makes this an ideal treat for not only myself but my children too. I once tried giving my son a good quality chocolate, and it was so bitter he looked at me like I was poisoning him!
Nutritional information is as follows -
Per bar,
210 cals,
21.2g carbohydrate,
21.1g of which sugars,
12.9g fat,
8.1g of which saturates.
Allergy advice states that this contains milk (obviously!), and may contain traces of nuts. Wheat and soya.
Price wise these can vary. Top price you are looking around the 50p - 60p mark, though if you shop around, especially the "cheap" shops (in Nuneaton we have a sweet shop that sells bars of chocolate like these, 4 for £1.00!), you are likely to get them for much cheaper.
