I am actually chomping my way through one of these gorgeous scrummy bars as I type. It helps justify the over the top mid-afternoon consumption of chocolate slightly and helps to ease the guilt. I used to love these chocolate bars when I was young, the velvety texture of the cadbury chocolate was divine and they just provided a ... Read the complete review

When these were first launched in 1983, I was a teenager and I had a paper round. I remember most mornings buying sweets or chocolate 'on tick' from the owner of the Newsagents, I delivered the papers for. Looking back now, I'm not sure why I'd get up at 6.30am each morning to deliver paper, in all weathers, only to spend it on sweets. ... Read the complete review

I bought a Cadbury Wispa yesterday, it cost £0.55 from a local news agents. I can't believe how much chocolate bars are these days. The Cadbury Wispa could be called the alternative to a Nestle Aero, or so I thought before I ate it yesterday. The Wispa has a strap line on the packet that reads: the textured milk chocolate ... I didn't like much chocolate when I was little (now like most 20-something women, it is a friend!), but Wispa was a favourite even then. Wispas were first sold nationally in 1983. And then they went away in 2003 for so long and we had to settle for second rate aeros and Dairy Milk Bubbly. So what a joy to see the posters "It's ... Read the complete review

I have never been so excited to see the return of anything like I was about wispa bars. However was it just me who wasnt all that impressed. I mean dont get me wrong I still love them, but they dont taste anywere near as good as they used to. (or maybe thats just me lol). As soon as I was told they was back on sale i promptly sent ... I seem to be reading endless reviews about how Wispa, and Wispa Gold bars are back after a long time away from our shelves, following a campaign on various social networking sites to get them back . In all honesty, I myself hadn't particularly noticed their absence, but then, I eat a wide range of chocolate bars and don't ... Read the complete review

When I was a kid, I used to love having the mini Wispa bars as a treat every now and again. If I'm honest, they were probably one of my favourite chocolate bars. At some point however, they stopped producing them and my favourite little treats disappeared, though at the time I was young enough to not really notice all that ... Read the complete review

The Cadbury wispa is a chocolate bar that was actually discontinued many years ago, I do remember the original however at that time it wasn't something I was really bothered about any way as there was always other chocolate bars that I preferred. When this came back recently though I though I might as well bring back the ... Read the complete review

I am not one of the Worlds million chocoholics in the sense that I don't have a major need for chocolate on a daily, or very regular basis. My husband on the other hand is a proper chocoholic and therefore has a NEED for chocolate. He is more your 70% fancy stuff. I like Kids chocloate! I hadn't seen Wispa bars for years! ... I've just been for a visit to my local convenience store and decided I couldn't leave without treating myself to a chocolate bar. After scanning the shelves to see what was on offer I made my choice. The Cadburys Wispa jumped out at me and I suddenly found myself having a craving for one so came home and have just munched the ... Read the complete review

I am a chocoholic, their I have admited it be satisfied. This chocolate can only be decribed as the much better version of aero go on admit it. It is bubbly milk chocolate that you can feel the texture as it melts in your mouth. It is a big bar that seems solid yet when you bite into it it seems to disolve and slide so ... I guess you could describe a wispa as a dairy milk with bubbles but it' so much better than that! The tiny bubbles are formed by aerating the molten chocolate with gas which causes bubbles, then as it it cools the gas pockets expand and get trapped in the chocolate. I much prefer it to an Aero as I prefer Cadbury chocolate to Nestle. ... Read the complete review

The bar is made with Cadbury's famous Dairy Milk Chocolate. They then make it bubbly. Kind of like an Aero. The bar comes in one piece. It also has no grooves to help break it down into chunks. It was launched in 1981 and has been around most of the time ever since. The bubbles in the bar are formed by aerating the chocolate ... Read the complete review

Im so glad Cadbury brought back the Wispa. Even i remember them from when i was really small and im still in school! Wispa was brought back by popular demand and aren't we all glad it was? Wispa is very similar to an Aero, but obviously its made with Cadburys milk chocolate which is much better. Wispa contains 215 ... Read the complete review

I was so happy to hear that the Cadbury Wispa was making a comeback! They taste even better than I remember, absolutely delicious! I know they are almost the same thing as the Dairy Milk Bubbly that Cadbury made, but they just taste so much better, I'm not sure why. It's certainly the superior type of bubbly ... The wispa is back ! ever since its sad demise for unknown reasons [ i personally think it was a massive pan-global new world government conspiracy to undermine the freedoms of the populace and to help bring about the downfall of society ] people have been silently campaigning for its return. I think it is fair to say that I was 1 of millions of chocaholics who were overjoyed at the return of the Cadbury Wispa bar around 2 years ago. I remember them saying that they were limited edition, or that they were testing them out before they permanently relaunched them into the ever growing British chocolate market. The coinage ... Cadburys Wispa has had a well publicised route to the bar it is today. Some years ago, for an undisclosed reason Cadburys withdrew production and sales of wispa from the market. Bubbly chocolate, when you really think about it, is a bit of a weird concept. Who was it that origionally sat down and said "This would be so much better with a little bit more AIR in it!"? However, that said, I'm glad that they did, because if they hadn't, then we wouldn't have the aero, or more importantly, that wispa. ... Read the complete review
