      An excellent chocolaty snack!

I have always liked Cadbury Chocolate fingers; but I spotted these new Mini fingers the other day at Asda and I liked the look of them. I noticed that they were Toffee Crunch flavour and this sounded really good to me. The Mini fingers come in a foil type fresh resealable bag. I like these resealable bags, many bags of chocolates now have these which really help to keep the chocolate fresh. Mind you with me around there isn't always much use for resealing the bags as the chocolates don't usually last that long!! The bag itself is Cadburys well known purple colour, also with gold blended in to the top and bottom of the bag.

The taste of these mini fingers is lovely. It is of course the traditional Cadbury finger in small form but with nice toffee crunchy bits. In my view, this really makes this chocolate snack a bit special. I now really do prefer these to the original fingers, but unfortunately when at their usual price I think these are expensive. I got this bag on special offer, costing £3.00 for 3 bags mix and match offer; but usually I think they cost £1.59 per bag which is too expensive. So these goodies will only be bought occasionally as a treat.

Cadbury describe the mini fingers as being 'Delightfully moresih baked snacks'. They certainly are moresih and the bag didn't last long! Oddly enough my son wasn't very keen on these snacks and yet he really likes Original Cadburys fingers

        Mmmmmm

These mini fingers were on sale for 89p for an eight bag packet today so I decided to buy them as an extra special treat. When I was little I would visit my Grandma on a Friday and she would always give me Cadbury's chocolate fingers as a treat after dinner. In those days they only came in the traditional long packet in plain flavour. But things have advanced.

This mini version gives you a sense of self control. With the big packet it is very hard not to eat them all at once.Cleverly mini packets there are only 8 fingers in each 22g packet. The fingers are also about half the size of normal fingers. Strangely they come in a tiny Cadbury's purple and yellow foil bag something I associate more with Cadbury's caramel. The bag is very easy to open and made of strong foil that stays in one piece easily.

Unlike the olden days Fingers now come in different flavours such as toffee. I remember trying the toffee ones in the big size and not being impressed. But these are different maybe because of the smaller portions. The finger itself is covered in a thin but perfect ammount of Cadbury's milk chocolate. I did find due to hot weather that it was a bit melted but normal the consistency would be perfect. This lovely layer of chocolate covers an equally lovely shortbread biscuit that is a long thin shape rounded at both edges. The shortbread has a yummy sweet toffee flavour. When bitten into there is an amazing crunch unlike the normal flavour which tends to be a bit powdery.

These mini packets are great for a lunchbox or a small treat with your cup of tea.

A Bit Sickly But Delish Anyway!

I brought these to watch the England v Algeria match because I was in the mood for something sweet... and the Fingers were deffo better than the game! lol

They come in a 400g tub and the usual price is £3.99, that's a bit of a rip off for biscuits even though they're yummy so I'm glad they was on special offer in Tesco and I only paid £1.99 for them.

They look just like Mini Cadburys Fingers but you'd deffo know they was different from usual from the smell, as soon as I opened the tub I could tell they had a sweeter smell and you can get a faint whiff of toffee when you sniff.

It's the biscuit that's toffee flavoured and the chocolate on the Fingers is the same milk chocolate that Cadburys use on all their Fingers. It's thick on the biscuit and that stands out wicked on these smaller sized Fingers, the chocolate is mega creamy and has got such a rich flavour that eating a Mini Finger is nearly as satisfying as eating a bar of chocolate.... I know it's not the same but sometimes it's even better to have a Finger because you've got the best of both worlds with it being creamy chocolate and crunchy biscuit.

The biscuit IS wickedly crunchy in these Toffee Fingers, it snaps when you break it and as you're munching you can feel AND hear how crunchy it is. This tub didn't last long because once I opened them everyone dug in but I know the normal flavour Fingers keep very well as long as you close the tub properly so even if you don't eat all these in one go you shouldn't lose any of the freshness of them.

The toffee flavour is quite faint but there is just enough to let you know you're eating something toffee flavoured. It gives the biscuits a sweeter taste than usual and goes proper nice with the milk chocolate, it doesn't taste like anything I've ever tried before but they deffo taste like toffee flavour Fingers..... and that's what they're supposed to taste like!

Recommended.... a nice treat for watching the England team make fools of themselves!!!
