===The Brand and Product===
Twirl is made by Cadbury and produced in Ireland. It began as a single bar in the 1970s but was re-branded as a twin bar in 1980s
===The Product Itself===
Two chocolate finger bars covered in Cadbury milk chocolate.
Comes in Cadbury purple/blue shiny wrapper and with the name 'Twirl' in bright yellow.
Made by Cadbury Trebor Bassett in Ireland - by Royal Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Suitable for Vegetarians.
I bought a pack of four bars together which are 90 calories per finger.
I bought a pack of four bars for £1 in our local Spar garage shop. The pack contained 136 grams for the four packs - ie for 8 fingers.
Twirl has not changed much since it was first introduced - either in design or packaging.
These days they come in various versions, bite size, single fingers, normal bars and multi packs.
The pack I bought is slightly smaller than the standard bars but as the normal bars are 60p each and I had four smaller bars for £1 I thought it was quite good value.
Each finger of chocolate is 90 calories. The packs have two bars each and I bought mine when I was out as a little snack.
Twirls are very much like Flakes but are covered in Cadbury chocolate, meaning they are much cleaner and less messy to eat. They are also similar to Galaxy Ripple.
The chocolate is laid down in folds to form the bar and is them coated in a covering of chocolate.
The packs contain two bars. They smell very chocolaty and have the lovely creamy Cadbury taste. Being folds of chocolate rather than solid chunks I find it less sweet as a whole than ordinary Dairy Milk bars.
These are a nice change to a conventional chocolate bar.
I can remember having these bars when they first came out and I was surprised to read on the Cadbury website that Twirls are the best selling bar they make.
I have not had these are bars for a while but they are very tasty as a little snack and are not too unhealthy - as chocolate bars go.
