“ Brand: Choc on Choc / Type: Gifts „
We used to sell these in the shop where I used to work and we were FORCED as part of that job to sample them. Yes, it's tough out there!
These were nine pieces of chocolate in each box, some had lettering written on them for: Valentine's day, Mothers day and pictures of tea or coffee.
Each one had a mix of dark, milk and white Belgian chocolate together.
So there is a dark layer at the bottom a white in the middle and white chocolate on the top or vice versa.
Although these were nice they were not what we were expecting for Belgian chocolates.
They were particularly hard to bite into. If you allow these to melt in the mouth it might take a bit long. Once you manage to bite into the chocolate or allow it to melt the merging of all three types of chocolate does not work in this brand very well at all.
It seemed too bitter or too strong but never delicious or moreish.
One of the best aspects of this is that it is gluten free.
They vary in prices, when we sold them they were £5 but on Amazon they cost £10.99!
I would say it all depends on your personal taste whether to try them but since our sampling session I couldn't eat them and was honest about how tough they are to bite into, I did want to sell them, but customers aren't stupid and were far more grateful when you told the truth. It's best to try these before spending this much on them. x
