My 16 chocolates came in two layers in an oblong box but you can have larger flatter boxes which come all in one layer. Ferrero Rocher: Little moments of heaven! (234 words)

Rating:

you are definately spoilt if you get these decadant little chocolatey heavenly moments! They are hazelnuts engulfed in hazelnut cream and dipped in chocolate and chopped nuts. they come individually wrapped in gold luxury foil wrap and a little brown petits fours case, and then they are packaged in a clear container of various shapes depending on the amount inside. they coms in a rectangular box, a hexagonal tray or this valentines day they are doing a heart shaped one. everything about this chocolates design is geared around feeling luxurious and high quality. and oh my god are they worth their price, they are extortionately priced, but for the reason that people pay it  Read the complete review

Impostors of the Chocolate Box World (363 words)

Rating:

Ferrero Rocher are often described as small chocolate balls that come individually wrapped in rather unnecessary fancy gold-coloured wrapper. They are then packaged further in a transparent plastic box. They must be one of the most over packaged, overpriced and overrated confectionaries on the market. Each ball contains so very little chocolate content that I almost find them offensive, in fact I would go so far as to call them outrageous in the negative sense of the word. Just a skimpy thin milk chocolate coating is all you'll get. So in essence they can't really be called chocolates never mind Italian chocolates. In fact they are not chocolates at all and the fact that  Read the complete review

Stuck for a gift? Give Ferrero Rocher! (175 words)
by - written on 03/04/08 (Useful, 89 readings)
Rating:

Could there be a better chocolate to give as a gift? My answer is no! My experiences of Ferrero Rocher have only ever been postive and I have found them incredibly useful for last minute gifts if I have suddenly found myself in an awkward situation (you know the sort - someone else is supposed to buy the present but forgets and you have got no real shopping time!) They are essentially a whole hazelnut surrounded by chocolate sauce (think Nutella here) then covered by a wafer coated in milk chocolate with little hazelnut pieces then attractively wrapped in gold foil and served in a little cup case. The generally come in clear plastic boxed but at Christmas ...  Read the complete review

You'd be nuts not to like it! (488 words)

These timeless luxurious chocolates are a must for any dinner party or important occasion! I was compelled to buy a box since they were on special offer at Sainsbury's and I needed a little indulgence. ~~~PACKAGING~~~ The packaging is of a very high quality, the thick plastic lid is embossed with a divine diamond pattern, yet underneath are a sea of golden globes. Your eyes are fed with a feast of gold - I love what I see! The honeycomb golden plastic tray is really sparkly and dazzling, it just oozes luxury! Each of the chocolates are hand packaged and are covered in a wonderful golden foil in a brown/gold paper basket topped off with a oval ...  Read the complete review

Ferrero Rocher: A bunny shaped box - Ferrero you really are spoiling me! (727 words)
by - written on 16/03/10 (Very useful, 233 readings)
Rating:

I have always wondered how such good chocolates, namely the Ferrero Rocher could have such bad adverts, but then perhaps that's the point there really is no need to sell them as they sell themselves. Yes, they really are that good. These chocolates aren't an all year round treat for me, I normally only eat them at Christmas as I try and exert some restraint (although very limited) at other times. Today, I crumbled when I saw an Easter bunny shaped Ferrero Rocher box in Sainsburys (for Easter only I believe). I didn't think it was possible to make the chocolates anymore attractive but then they go and put them in bunny shaped box (believe it or not I'm 33). ...  Read the complete review
