Biscuits are my Diet downfall and especially Chocolate ones. I've been a fan of Rocky Bar since my mum used to have them in the Biscuit tin and there was the choice of these or Penguins, which I was totally bored with at that point.
Anyway back to these Biscuits. Rocky Bars are made by Fox's and you get them in Milk Chocolate or these ones which are Milk Chocolate with Caramel. You buy them in a pack of 10 and they normally cost about £1.20 at my local Asda and Tesco. Sometimes Asda has a deal of 2 for £2 on their branded Chocolate Bars, so it helps save the pennies a bit.
The packaging is alright for these. They are in a quite long, thin rectangular pack and it is nice and metallic Yellow colour. The bars are individually wrapped in the same type of wrapper and the Rocky writing is in a shiny Purple Colour, so it stands out well on the pack.
Each Chocolate Bar has 106 calories, and I would say that is pretty average for the item. Each Bar is about as long as an average index finger and they are quite chunky in width. They are about the thickenss of 1cm as well.
So what are these? They are a hard Biscuit base which has a thick hard caramel topping and this is all covered in thick hard Milk Chocolate. The base of these are flat but the top where the Caramel is is slightly rounded and there is a ridged pattern on the top. The Caramel taste quite sweet and a bit sickly but that isn't so bad as there isn't too much of it. It is enough for the bar size though. The Chocolate is nice and Milky and although it isn't in the same league in my view of Dairy Milk and Galaxy, I think Fox's have nice Milk Chocolate.
Although I could eat Biscuits for fun, I could only probably manage 2 of them and then I would feel full up of the product, but that doesn't bother me - it makes them last a bit longer after all!
Although I normally store these in the fridge and they are nice to eat when they are cold, if you eat them at room temperature then the Caramel melts a little and tastes a little sweeter if thats what you're after.
A nice Chocolate Biscuit.
