      Can't complain for the price

I decided to try this hazelnut chocolate bar from Ikea after having bought and loved their milk chocolate version of this chocolate abr. The price of this chocolate is very reasonable indeed, just 50 pence for a 100g bar.

This is certainly not your premium Belgian chocolate, but for the price I think that it is absolutely delicious. It only has a 26% cocoa content, which did make me a little bit dubious at first as I thought that this might make it too sweet and sugary but it wasn't like that at all. It was really nice with a smooth, rich and creamy chocolate taste, and it was filled with small pieces of chopped hazelnut. In an ideal world I thought that there should have been more pieces of chopped hazelnut encosed in the chocolate bar, but hey what can you expect for just 50 pence!
In Swedish this is 'choklad nöt' meaning nut chocolate, you only discover that it is hazelnut chocolate by reading the wrapper, which as is typical of Ikea foodstuffs is printed in many different languages.

In the same chocolate range, and for the same price, 50 pence per 100g bar, you can also get a milk chocolate bar, and a dark chocolate bar, both of which are delicious also - I've bought them both many times before!

A great bar of chocolate for the price.

I got this chocolate last week from ikea, as I always like browsing their food market, and this caught my eye at 39p, so thought it was worth a try.

I did also buy the milk chocolate version of this bar and it was awful, so I wasn't too impressed, but this bar was a lot better than the milk chocolate one and I would happily buy it again.

The bar comes in a bright yellow packet with multiple languages on the front, and it says hazelnut chocolate. It doesn't say if it's dark or milk chocolate on the packet but I would definitely class it as milk chocolate after eating it.

The bar costs 39p for 100g, which I thought was a real bargain, after tasting it, I was annoyed that I didn't buy two bars.

The bar is divided into small chunks, which makes it easier to break up.

The actual chocolate is a lovely light brown colour and you can easily see the small chunks of hazelnut in it. The chocolate has a lovely taste to it too, it is very creamy and milky, not too sweet and has a nice chocolatey taste, also the little chunks of hazelnut are very small but compliment the chocolate really well, and make it interesting. Personally I would have preferred bigger chunks of hazelnut, but that's just me, I would still eat this chocolate again.

I'm not sure of the nutritional info of this bar, as it wasn't on the packet, and with chocolate I don't like to look anyway, I know it's not healthy so why ruin it, it still tastes good.

I would highly recommend this chocolate bar, at 39p everyone should try it. The chocolate was pleasant and the little bits of hazelnut were really nice. I would buy this again. The only downside is that you have to go to Ikea to get it!
