In Swedish this is 'choklad nöt' meaning nut chocolate, you only discover that it is hazelnut chocolate by reading the wrapper, which as is typical of Ikea foodstuffs is printed in many different languages. In the same chocolate range, and for the same price, 50 pence per 100g bar, you can also get a milk chocolate bar, and a dark chocolate bar, both of which are delicious also - I've bought them both many times before!...more

I decided to try this hazelnut chocolate bar from Ikea after having bought and loved their milk chocolate version of this chocolate abr. The price of this chocolate is very reasonable indeed, just 50 pence for a 100g bar. This is certainly not your premium Belgian chocolate, but for the price I think that it is absolutely delicious. It only has a 26% cocoa content, which did make me a little bit dubious at first as I thought that this might make it too sweet and sugary but it wasn't like that at all. I got this chocolate last week from ikea, as I always like browsing their food market, and this caught my eye at 39p, so thought it was worth a try. I did also buy the milk chocolate version of this bar and it was awful, so I wasn't too impressed, but this bar was a lot better than the milk chocolate one and I would happily buy it again. The bar comes in a bright yellow packet with multiple languages on the front, and it says hazelnut chocolate. It doesn't say if it's dark or milk chocolate on the packet but I would definitely class it as milk chocolate after eating it.
