Jacob's Club Mint
Advantages: cool fresh mint, crunchy biscuit, milk chocolate, does not leave you feeling sickly
I have to admit up until a couple of years ago I used to eat a lot of chocolate, your talking like 1 - 2 bars a day, now I am lucky if I have that a month. Although I do tend to have the need/craving for a bar of chocolate every now and then, and is normally something with a bit of flavour to it, and something that isn't leaving you feeling sickly, as like most bars do. My partner went out to get a few essentials and notice he bought these and some orange ones, so I did have a bar and I was satisfied without feeling sick afterwards.
--*ABOUT THE CLUB*--
The club is an ideal size for pack lunches or for a snack in between meals, as it doesn't leave you feeling full and bloated, my son and partner take these to with them on their daily journey to work and school. I would have thought the mint in this bar would be overpowering but it isn't, it gives the club a cool fresh taste with every bite. The biscuit of the club is very crunchy but not hard to bite into, and works well with the thin layer of mint. The whole biscuit is then covered with a generous layer of milk chocolate, which doesn't leave you feeling sickly afterwards, and works well with the other ingredients.
The packaging is eye catching with its bright colours, its green which represents the mint and club written on the front in brown lettering representing the chocolate. The Jacobs logo is at the top of the wrapper, useful information about the ingredients within each bar, in which the calories are quite a lot so if you're on a diet these are not for you. Each biscuit is wrapped up in a silver foiled paper keeping the biscuit fresh, and the wrapped in a wrapper same as the main packaging.
--*AVAILABILITY AND PRICE*--
My partner bought these from tesco express when picking up a few essentials that we had ran out of, he said he came across these at a price of £1 for 6 bars, he said he thought it was a deal so got them and some orange ones. With them being Jacobs you know your going to get value for money as they are a well branded name. Although these was on offer at the time when we got them.
I have to admit I do love these, especially because they are mint, my son loves having these in his lunch bag for his lunch at school, my partner don't like these ones but does like the orange ones. As I have mention they don't leave you feeling you want more and don't leave you feeling sickly afterwards. One bar is enough to satisfy you. I will be buying these again as they are great just as a snack, and does not tend to fill you up or become bloated.
