Kinder eggs rule!
Member Name: BexCam1
Advantages: Kids like the novelty of them
Disadvantages: quite expensive
I LOVE Kinder eggs, I remember having them when I was younger, & loved collecting the toys that came with them. I now have 2 children who are 6 and 2 and they love them too! My son gets stupidly excited waiting to see what toy is inside! They toys are normally absolute rubbish (I'm sure they used to be much better when I was younger!) they normally end up in the bin after a few days, my daughters toy normally goes straight in the bin as the parts are too small for her! The chocolate is just the best though!
I sometimes buy the small kinder maxi bars, but the chocolate doesn't taste quite as good to me, and my children much prefer the novelty factor of the eggs!
As I'm sure you all know, kinder eggs come wrapped in orange and white foil. They have brown chocolate on the outside and the inside is white, the eggs are hollow with a plastic capsule inside which contains the toy.
I normally get them from tesco or sainsburys for around 75p for a 20g egg, its quite expensive considering you don't get much chocolate for that price! I have seen them in poundland before though, a pack of 3 for £1 so that's a good deal! Also you can get 100g ones around easter time for about £5. I might treat myself to one this easter!
Summary: a yummy and fun treat!
