Lindt Gold Reindeer

Yes I know it's way past christmas, but had one of these in the fridge which was calling me, so decided to give in to temptation eat and revue, as you do.

Packaging

Cute reindeer shaped chocolate with gold foil wrapping and a red neck tie fastened with a bell (that really tinkles).

Brief History

One snowy winter's evening a lindt master chocolatier was sat reading a christmas story with his small daughter.

When she asked him" Daddy, why doesn't the Lindt father christmas have any reindeers?" and thus the idea of the Lindt chocolate reindeer was born.

Taste and Appearance

Colour light brown with a slight sheen to it and an even texture. Smooth to touch. Chocolate breaks with a distinct cracking sound. You can detect a smell of cocoa beans, vanilla and cream. Tastes smooth and creamy with a rich continental flavour.

Sizes

It comes in two different sizes:

Large Reindeer Size I tried which is 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide priced at £2.29 weight 100g approx available at most confectionary outlets(Woolworths, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Others usually available at christmas I was lucky to have one left).
