Advantages: Luxurious, Tasty
Disadvantages: Price
I was in the supermarket the other day and came across this bar of Lindt Swiss Classic Chocolate. I had of course, heard of this brand before, however for some reason or other had never actually tried it, always preferring to go with my usual brands; Cadbury's or Galaxy.
This chocolate bar weighs 100g and consists of 15 reasonably sized squares of milk chocolate.
There isn't that much of a scent, however there is a slight sweet smell. The chocolate is a brown colour with white swirls and has an extremely smooth texture. The chocolate is lovely and creamy and has a luxurious feel. It melts on your tongue instantly. I found that this chocolate goes great with a cup of tea.
I found this chocolate to be incredibly more-ish, however I did feel that after a while it did get a little sickly - although that is probably me being greedy and eating too much. I would definitely say that this chocolate is perfect for sharing as one bar is a bit too rich for one person - unless of course you are the kind of person who can eat a couple of chunks, and leave the rest until later - something I can't do!
Strangely the packaging (which I have to say is a lovely royal blue colour and very attractive) does not contain any nutritional content and so I am unable to comment on how many calories the chocolate contains etc.
Ingredients: Sugar, Cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, lactose, skim milk powder, emulsifier (Soya lecithin), barley malt extract, flavouring.
May contain traces of hazelnuts and almonds.
All in all, this would a real treat and one that I would definitely buy again. However, at £1.89 I do feel that it is a little bit expensive - although I do think that it is worth every single penny.
Thanks for reading!
