Marks & Spencer Chocolate Cornflake Mini Bites

Advantages: Best combination of chocolate and cornflakes I've experienced

Disadvantages: A reasonably sized tub will empty within minutes if given a chance

"Hello, hello, what do we have hear then?" Not the local fuzz coming around to inspect for criminal activities, but myself inspecting my latest venture to M&S and want premier quality treats she has returned with. Whether it be microwave chocolate puddings or bacon lettuce and tomatoe sandwiches, it is well known that M&S always performs when it comes to food. You must have seen their ridiculously seductive food advertising campaign. Marks & Spencers chocolate cornflake mini bites are as you would expect, similar to the treats you may have made as a family on a chilly Sunday afternoon, whether it be with rice krispies or frosties, the choice is usually up to you. Homemade cookery is going out the window a bit now though, and why not when the store bought product tastes this good.
Coming in a large circular tub, once you have broken the seal the product is easy to get access to and gives you that coming back mentality. At least you are exercising your fingers slightly by removing that lid everytime. Inside the cornflakes are covered by a familiar amount of chocolate, however there is something incredibly unfamiliar about the presentation of the product. They are, as the name says, mini bites - and to someone who has either seen them in Square brand form or childish small portions with sticky bits sticking out everywhere, it was a surprise to see portions go from small to miniature. M&S do keep the childish charm of the product though, in terms of not taking the exact size of the product too strictly. The products are all very similar in size, but not identical.

Two bites are the maximum you shall reach here, but they taste sensationally like no other chocolate covered cornflake treat I have received before. The chocolate is milky and if it wasn't so crispy with the jagged edges of the cornflakes, it would melt in your mouth. Each mini bite does not feel at all sticky, although it all stays in place well even after being crushed between your teeth with very few crumbs. The whiff of smell you get from removing the lid on the product is that of pure chocolate, and shows no expence spared. I could very easily go back for more, although having already had two before even starting this review I would not want to run through the whole tub and feel the force of my families retribution. I would recommend this to anyone who feels this product would be a good treat, and can give it full marks as far as a food product goes (that's not a full five stars). You can't miss this on the shelf, and the best before dated is very well presented - my product lasts a month and a day.

Summary: I challenge you to dislike them.
