Galaxy Minstrels Packaging The pack is light brown with a picture of 4 minstrels on the front with dark brown writing on the front. It is nothing remarkable but does let the consumer know it is a galaxy product. Taste and texture The sweets have a dark chocolate outer shell with a ... Read the complete review

Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I am something of a chocoholic, have an immense sweet tooth, and regularly enjoy indulging my "addictions" by way of chomping merrily on a variety of chocolates and sweets. I would go so far as to say it is my favourite hobby, in fact. Anyway, one chocolate ... Read the complete review

It's not that often that I buy Galaxy Minstrels. I had almost forgotten how nice they are! I usually buy the larger packets of similar chocolate sweets when they are on special offer which doesn't seem to be all that often lately unfortunately. However I thought I would treat myself when I recently spotted these in the supermarket whilst ... Read the complete review

Minstrels are my absolute favourite sweets. I find I usually can't open a packet without eating all the minstrels in it. They come in an easy-to-open plastic packet. The bigger packs usually have a piece of sticky tape so you can reseal them. First of all when you open the packet, you get this wonderful smell of chocolate. I ... Read the complete review

I am a huge chocoholic but have had to limit my intake since I became pregnant. Today though, I took a real notion for a packet of Minstrels and just had to have them! Minstrels are made by Galaxy which has got to be my favourite chocolate as it is usually so creamy and gorgeous! When I bought a small packet of these, they ... Read the complete review

This chocolate claims to be smooth and creamy chocolate captured in crispy shells, and this is exactly what it is. This is one of my favourite chocolates, they just melt in your mouth. Only problem is there isn't enough in a 42g bag. I just can't seem to stop eating them. Don't do much for the diet! The chocolate is silky on the ... Read the complete review

I am not a massive chocolate fan. I occasionally like the odd bit of chocolate but nothing too rich or sickly Galaxy has always been a good reliable brand that you can always trust to fulfil any chocolate cravings. Minstrels are saucer shaped bits of milk chocolate coated with a crunchy sugar coating. Its is almost like a giant M&M. ... Read the complete review

Time for another chocolate review! ~~The chocolate~~ Galaxy minstrels are simply soft galaxy chocolate buttons encased in a hard chocolate shell. The minstrels are quite wide and pretty big; I'd say there's more in them than maltesers. So, onto the most important bit, the taste test! The shell, is wonderfully ... Read the complete review

Mars Galaxy Minstrels are a chocolate based snack, consisting of disc shaped galaxy milk chocolate in a crisp sugar shell. They have been available for many years and are sold around the world by Mars (one of the leading confectionary manufacturers). As well as the standard 42 gram bag, a 170 gram bag and 290 gram pouch are also ... Read the complete review

Galaxy seem to have brought out a few new variations of their fab chocolate bars recently but to be honest I haven't really been blown away by any of them. I think the charm and attraction of Galaxy chocolate is it's fantastic flavour and texture and it is best enjoyed in it's simplest form. I just feel that messing with it too much ... These are a personal favourite of mine and beat similar chocolate products from other leading brands hands down. The first advantage is that you get the rich, creamy almost decadent texture of Galaxy chocolate, albeit in a different format. The crisp chocolate shell round the outside gives a real contrast in textures, which adds greatly ... Read the complete review

I recently started buying this after looking for a different offering. The packaging in itself looked extremely enticing and after ensuring it didn't contain any peanuts, something I have an allergy to, I soon became a regular buyer. Inside the pack you will find round chocolates, in a very smooth and crisp shell is a soft ... Read the complete review

As many of you who have read my previous reviews, I love Galaxy chocolate, and Minstrels are no exception to this love. A minstrel is a disc of Galaxy chocolate, coated in a thick, crunchy sugar coated chocolate shell. The outside is crunchy, and the inside is creamy and melts in your mouth. I like to pop one ... My boss bought us a 170g bag of Galaxy Minstrels to cheer us up at work. They were on offer in Asda for £1. The packaging is brown like all Galaxy products and had pictures of the Minstrels on the front, balancing on each other like towers. This is my favourite sweet treat, for sure. Every time I buy a pack, I get an urge to buy another, but I don't because I'll eventually end up like a blimp. You can leave it in your mouth for 20 minutes or more, and the taste just melts off the outer case, making it really soft to bite through, which is what I do, or you can just crunch ... I am a big fan of these. A crisp outer shell contains a small amount of galaxy milk chocolate and the contrast is strack and lovely. Each is contained in a little elipsoid capsule. There are normally 10-15 in a small pack costing around 50p from most supermarkets. Galaxy chocolate is certainly smooth and creamy and is my favourite of the ... Read the complete review
