Advantages: Sweet. Chocolately. Complimentary taste and textures. Price okay.
Disadvantages: Melts if not kept in the cool.
Maltesers are one of my favourite confectionary products - although they are one of those products that I actually forget how much I like them until I eat them again! They come in a little red plastic packet which features pictures of the actual maltesers on the front - and you get about 20 maltesers (37g) per packet . The packet will cost about 60p which is about standard for a product of this type and it's an amount I'm willing to pay.
The Maltesers are small balls of honeycomb which are then covered in milk chocolate. The middle is crunchy and sweet but is also very light and so when you eat them they don't feel to heavy when you eat a packet of them. The milk chocolate is sweet and creamy - and together the two flavours and textures complement each other really well. If you don't leave them in a cool place the chocolate on the Maltesers will melt and then it can make eating them pretty messy.
Overall, I really enjoy the taste of Maltesers and it's a snack which isn't going to completely ruin your appetite.
Summary: I like them.
