Advantages: Lovely variety, its fun not knowing what you've got

Disadvantages: The price is a bit high and the coffee centres are horrible

This is a review of the 140g bag of Revels. These are a selection of different centred chocolates all in the same pack. Revels are owned by Mars confectioners and are a decent brand that are able to poke fun at themselves as the joke about the coffee centred sweets is now almost a selling point.

Price - These were purchased in Tesco for £1.39, these can be purchased for cheaper in Asda and Iceland.

Packaging: The pack is a nattty looking resealable bag with orange, red, yellow and brown stripes running through the packaging. There are pictures of the various types of chocolates on the front as well as the word REVELS in large white lettering.

Flavour - The varieties include orange creme, coconut, toffee, peanut centres, coffee, maltesers and a small disc type chocolate too, you could pick anty of these flavours and the joke is that nobody wants to pick out the coffee centred chocolate, they were even evicted in 2008 when a campaign was run in the style of Big Brother to evict the least popular flavour, they have now been reinstated and although I hate them it was the right decision as the variety of flavours is what gives this brand its originality and it is always fun just dipping in and picking out a random chocolate and then waiting to discover what it is, their advertising campaign once likened it to russian roulette with everyone trying to avoid coffee and that is what makes it such fun!

Summary: Good fun, just avoid the coffee centre
