Disadvantages: The coffee surprise
Now for a girl like me who is easily bored Revels are fantastic!
Revels are manufactured by Mars, come in a bag, and are basically chocolates with assorted centres. Not big chocolates like you get in a box of chocs, but little ones. just round, or flat, with different centres. Currently the centres are; orange, coffee (why oh why!) caramel, chocolate, raisin and good old maltesers. There used to be a chocolate covered peanut in there that used to give me a nasty surprise, but this seems to have been replaced by a chocolate raisin. Good move mars! Not so sure what that coffee thingamy is still doing in there, frankly not many people like it! It's all down to personal taste I suppose.
So, if you like a bit of variety, revels are for you. The chocolate is nice and creamy, and the centres make for a surprise every time you pop one in your mouth. It's good to have a bag of chocolates where there is a bit of variety. There is a good range of textures too, the coffee and orange are like a hard fondant, the caramel is chewy, the chocolate is solid chocolate and the maltesers and raisins speak for themselves.
A 35g bag costs around 50p...and from experience will last you around 30 seconds. Luckily, there are bigger bags and family packs available (phew!)
A 35g bag (30 second's worth) will give you 168 calories and 7.4g of fat. Not great, but not that bad either.
Summary: Lovely little assorted chocs. A real treat.
