One bag of chocolates I won't be eating!

I have written many reviews about chocolate and probably all of them are positive. Therefore I thought I'd review one of the bags of chocolates I really don't like, and that is Mars Revels. I was in fact reminded of reveals when they appeared in one of the kids selection boxes, I was actually surprised that they are a product from Mars. We still have them in the cupboard now and I don't know who's gonna eat them.
Revels are perfectly described as a "chocolate lucky dip" and are milk chocolates with different centres. They are little chocolate balls, similar to maltesers but slightly different shapes. Some are flatter and some smaller. The shape of the revel depends on what the centre of the chocolate is. You can either get coffee, orange, raisin, chocolate, toffee and maltesers. They used to do one with peanuts in but I think this will have been taken out because of the risk somebody with a peanut allergy may eat one.
Out of the 6 different kinds of revels you get in your bag I would only like the chocolate or the malteser ones. I am not prepared to risk eating a coffee, raisin or orange chocolate just for a chocolate or malteser one. If I wanted to eat them I'd by a bag of maltesers. It's like eating a tin of quality streets without being told which chocolates are which. I cannot even see how eating the different tasting chocolates would compliment each other taste wise, coffee and then an orange? urgh! I think the whole concept of revels is just really rubbish.
The whole selling point of revels is that it is a "chocolate lucky dip", how exciting not knowing which you're gonna get next. I'm sure regular revels eaters would be able to recognise which chocolates are which anyhow.
You can buy the revels in either a 35g bag or in larger share bags. You can probably expect to pay around 40p for a small bag and £1.50 for the larger bags. Revels are easy to notice in the stripy packaging of oranges and browns. I'm guessing this is to represent the colour of the centres of the chocolates but I find the packaging to look quite unattractive.
In a 35g bag of revels it states there are 168 calories and 7.4g of fat. You do seem to get quite a lot of chocolates in the bag but I wonder it there's an even distribution of the chocolates inside.
I really cannot think of anything positive to say about revels. I love chocolate but I wouldn't eat these if you paid me and I'm so surprised it has such a high dooyoo rating. The taste, the packaging, the concept and the assortment of different chocolates is all wrong. Would definitely not recommend.
