Advantages: None really.

Disadvantages: A lucky dip which often turns out not that lucky at all.

As my wife sat scoffing a bag of Revels last night I thought I would write a little review on these, they are a chocolate treat that I do not really understand, even my wife who professes to like these has at least one flavour she doesn't like and oddly enough she is always looking to see how many plain chocolate or Malteser ones there are as those are her favourite, so why doesn't she just buy a galaxy and a bag of Maltesers?

I like the toffee ones out of this lucky did chocolate treat but I just buy a box of toffee Poppets and that way I get my chocolate Toffees and I am a happy bunny.

The orange creams and the coffee creams in Revels tend to be a bit hard and not like a soft fondant cream should be and the peanut ones are so tiny I wonder if they are worthwhile at all.

My wife tells me that the peanut ones have now gone and been replaced by raisins, I don't know why but I bet you now get kids buying these, taking out the small one thinking "nice a peanut one" then finding out to their horror that it is a squashy raisin because most kids do not like raisins in my experience.

I cannot understand the point in these at all, everyone I know has at least one centre they either do not like at all or like much less than the others and when you can get pretty much everything out of this bag in another way why wouldn't people just buy Maltesers if that's what they like or Galaxy if its the chocolate ones they like, Chocolate peanuts and raisins are readily available if that is your thing and Poppets make a toffee and orange centre that can easily take the place of the ones here.

So the only thing I cannot find a replacement for is the coffee ones but are those not the ones everyone says they do not like anyway and even if you do like those you wouldn't buy a bag of these at around 50p for a few coffee sweets would you?

Summary: Lucky dip chocolates, whats the point in that?
