What is it?

A packet of milk chocolates with assorted centres by Mars.


Special features?

Each individual chocolate is different. Each either has a fondant orange cream centre, a peanut, a raisin, almond, coffee cream centre or just plain milk chocolate.


What do I think?

These are ok, only ok because I don't really like very single centre that it contains. Really, they're not chocolates but small bits of snack covered in chocolate. Sadly, the best thing about them is the chocolate, the only thing that actually tastes authentic.

The cream centres are often too sweet and too hardened, like they've been like that for a long time, almost going stale. The peanuts are always very soft and the taste of it always seems dulled and masked by the chocolate themselves. Again, it does make me think that they've been like that for a long time...

I'm not keen on almonds anyway, so a bit biased there...the raisin is ok but I have never felt entirely comfortable with chocolate covered raisins generally anyway. Which leave the plain milk chocolate by itself, and ironically, these are the best ones. They are large round shaped, almost the size of a Malteser and totally milk chocolate.

Another disappoint is that there aren't that many in the pack -35g which gives about 12-14 little chocolate covered little nuggets. These were 58p when I bought them, definitely not value for money and I would still have to think about it even if they were half price...
