We have something of a tradition in this household of only having chocolate biscuits on a Sunday. I am glad that I have been conditioned to accept this to because the only person who would benefit long term would be my dentist as he loses count on his hands of the number of cavities appearing.

Mcvities are probably one of the biggest brands and do produce exceptionally good biscuits but at a quite significant price. We purchase the packs as shown above, this is a standad size and there about 12 biscuits per pack.

The biscuit itself is a whole wheat biscuit layered with a chocolate topping. Therefore it has a nice crunchy taste but it also has a very rich sweet taste to it. One thing you will notice though is that the taste is also slightly dry to it being whole wheat and therefore these taste their best when you have them with a cup of tea which definitely enhances the flavour greatly.

As they are whole wheat they are quite healthy and generally quite good for the digestive system. They will of course be fattening if you consume too many of them but it's at least reassuring to know there is at least some semblance of goodness in these. Of course they wouldn't taste as sumptious without the chocolate layer but then very little beats milk chocolate doesn't it?
