Milka Choco Minis Stars
Advantages: Tasty. Good value when on offer. Good for treats.
Disadvantages: Price when not on offer!
A while ago I was shopping in Asda and I always buy a packet of biscuits for my boyfriend to take to work the next day with his packed lunch. On the end isles of Asda, there are always the offers or new products. I came across these, along with Milka Cookies and Milka Digestives. I really love Milka chocolate. Its really tasty and I normally buy a bar every so often for about a pound. These Milka Choco Mini Stars were on offer along with the other two products for £1. I thought that was a good price.
When I got these home I didnt know what to expect. I thought it was be a tray of biscuits inside but actually it wasnt. With this packet, there were 5 individual packets inside the box. Unlike the other two products. In the individual packet there are 6 little biscuits. They are quite small and round like a circle. Then they have a star in the middle covering most of the biscuit. Its two layers, one layer is milk chocolate and the one underneath is white chocolate. I'm not really a biscuit person but I decided to try these for myself as well as my boyfriend because I do quite like Milka and was intrigued to see what they were like. I was pleasantly surprised because I don't normally like biscuits. But because these have quite a lot of chocolate with them I really enjoyed them. I didn't think there was too much biscuit which is just what I like!
In my personal opinion I think that each biscuit contains too many calories. There are 32 calories in each biscuit. And there are 6 biscuits in one little pack. The pack contains 192 calories. For me, that's quite a lot. I still eat them knowing that they contain this many calories. One biscuit also contains: 0.4g of protein, 4g of carbohydrates and 1.6g of fat.
Im eating a packet now and Im getting crumbs everywhere. I really like these biscuits, and so does my boyfriend. I think my nephews would love these too, there quite young and love anything sweet.
The Milka range also includes: Milka Alpine Milk 100g, Milka Alpine Milk Caramel double filled) 100g, Milka Chocolate Cream 100g, Milka Daim 100g (my boyfriend loves this one, its has Daim bar in it), Milka Happy Cows 100g (this is my favourite, its white and milk chocolate), Milka Hazelnut 100g, Milka Santa Claus Tablet 85g (I imagine this will only be available at Christmas), Milka Bunny 85g (I'm guessing this is only available around Easter), Milka 250g Gift Tablet, Milka 330g Minis (this is a box f chocolate, it includes a variety of all the types of bars).
I think this is a good product. I think this would suit going in a child's lunch box or something like that. Because it is a star on the biscuits, it does seem more for children. The packaging is small. I definitely recommend this product because they are really nice. I enjoy all of Milka's products because the chocolate is just delicious. For a pound its a good price!
UPDATE! They are now £2 in Asda. I wont be buying them for £2, but if they are on offer again there definitely worth it!
Summary: Yummy bistuits with Milka chocolate on.
