Milka Daim Chocolate Bar
Description: Manufacturer: Milka / Type: Chocolate Bar
I must start by explaining that I love both Dime (or Daim!) bars and Milka chocolate, so when Mr Siamese came home with a couple of these chocolate bars for me to try, I knew immediately that I was going to like it.
The chocolate bars were 100g in size and he paid around £1.20 for one. I am not sure how readily available these are as I haven't seen them in the shops, but hopefully they will be easy to find. These ones came from Tesco so try there first if you are looking for them.
As with all Milka bars, these come in purple wrappers with the Milka logo and a picture of the Milka cow on the front.
The chocolate is deliciously creamy, much more so than Cadbury's chocolate. It has a deliciously sweet aftertaste that really lasts on your tongue too.
The pieces of Daim are really crunchy. If you have never tried a Daim (Dime!) then it is a hard layer of almond flavoured crunchy butterscotch inside a chocolate coating. So basically, this Milka bar has little pieces of that butterscotch through it which gives a fab texture to the ordinary chocolate.

So, unfortunately these are not very good for you, which is a shame as they really are delicious. I think that I will be stocking up on these while I can because they are possibly the nicest bar of chocolate that I have eaten for ages.
I definitely recommend that you try these, they are a tasty and unusual way to treat yourself (in moderation of course) and chocolate lovers everywhere are bound to be impressed!
Summary: Well worth buying as a treat
