Milka Daim Chocolate Bar
Disadvantages: Nothing, it's gorg!
I absolutely love and adore the Milka chocolate. I have pretty much gobbled up half the stock my local Asda had this week alone and it really is my preferred brand when buying a bit slab of chocolate to munch my way through. Until recently I thought I had sampled all of the flavours from within the range so I was delighted and excited to see this one and grabbed greedily about 6 bars of the stuff knowing I would love it!
The 100g bar comes in a lilac plastic wrapper with a cow on the front and we are told that it is Milka & Daim 'Alpine milk chocolate with pieces of crunchy Daim caramel' and that it contains 133g per 25g serving and there is a photograph of chunks of the chocolate. On the back of the packet other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice, there is a full nutritional chart shown, the size and best before date are given and contact details for Kraft Foods (the manufacturer of the product are listed. It's a nice easy to open packet though not really very easy to reseal (but really you have no need to worry about that!).
Well the bar comes in easy to snap off chunks and is a light brown, creamy looking chocolate with the word Milka engraved into every piece. It isn't very thick but the chunks are large and rather wide.
This is a melt in the mouth (and hand if your not quick) creamy chocolate. Nicely sweetened I simply love this because it is so creamy. Within the mix there are lots of chunks of caramel which are hard, crunchy and chewy, if you like Daim then your gonna love this winning combination of flavour and textures!
I simply adore this fantastic quality chocolate and love the sweet and creamy taste this gives off!! Yummy stuff once again Milka people I'm so impressed and can't get enough of you!
Nutritional Information Per 25g Serving:
Of which sugars: 14.5g
Of which saturates: 4.3g
Available in all good supermarkets and if not on offer (like most often it is!) expect to pay around a pound a bar for this 100g sized bar.
Summary: Bad for the hips but yummy yum yum!
