Milka Daim Chocolate Bar
Advantages: Taste, Great Treat, Cheap, good packaging
I'm a huge fan of chocolate; I just simple love it and would eat it every day and night if I could. Sadly I have developed a mild intolerance to dairy products haven't a clue why! So chocolate nowadays is really well and truly in moderation!
Milka and Daim chocolate Bar - 100g:
"Alpine Milk Chocolate with pieces of crunchy Daim Caramel"
I used to love Daim bars as a child but haven't seen them now for years. I popped into Morrison's for a little shopping and I spotted Milka and Daim bar in one! It was on special offer for only 50p so couldn't help myself and had to buy it. I'm guessing people will know about Daim bars but just in case it is like a hard caramel bar that was covered in chocolate.
Opening the wrapper you can smell that lovely, sweet inviting chocolate scent. The aroma is like a rich hot chocolate with hints of Daim bar, you just want to get in there rip off the wrapper and munch away! Once you peal back its sexy purple wrapper you meet the gorgeous chocolate where there are six rows of four chocolate squares totalling to twenty-four square. So plenty to share or sped over a few nights like what I do. (Its hard work though!) Each square also has the "Milka" logo printed on it in.
If like me you like your chocolate to be cold once you take it out of the fridge breaking off a few pieces is nice and easy. You hear that delightful snapping noise as you break some of the chocolate away. The chocolate just melts in your mouth but then you have that lovely crunch of the Daim pieces, simply heaven in a bar. So scrumptious and extremely morish I just didn't want to stop eating it!
The milk chocolate is very sweet when teamed up with the Daim pieces which I know can put some people off being overly sweet. However not me I found it a super combination and will certainly be purchasing it again. I like how Milka haven't tried to over complicate things by leaving the chocolate with that mild rich taste works wonders with the Daim. Velvety smooth milk chocolate pieces each nibble as intoxicating as the other leaving you wanting more and more (yes I really liked this one!!)
Though the squares are small, the little Daim pieces within the chocolate do pack a punch so no skipping of flavour or quality what so ever. I personally think they have given you the perfect amount of Daim giving you a yummy rich creamy caramel chocolate.
Milka do have rather stand out packaging with its all purple wrapper, it certainly stands out among the others in that range on the selves. The wrapper is really easy to open just pull at the tabs and there is even a picture on the back of the wrapping showing you how! The packaging detail contains all the information I would want to see, ingredients, make, contacts etc.

Price and Availability:
So far I have only spotted this in Morrison's however I'm told you can also find them in Asda and Tesco's so I'm guessing most supermarkets will stock this Brand.
It was only 50p on offer normally priced around the £1.00 mark which I think is still great value for this delicious chocolate bar.
This chocolate is now one of my favourites - pure ecstasy in a bar, I just love it. The taste is amazing and even the aftertaste lingers around your mouth leaving you wanting more! Of course this will only ever be an occasion treat as sadly this is rather unhealthy but a little bit if what you fancy does you good! And it certainly puts and smiles on my face, but chocolate always gives me that happy feeling.
I will be purchasing this again and defiantly recommend this to all that can eat chocolate!
Huge five out of five stars from me!
Thanks for reading :o)
