“ Brand: Milka / Type: Milk „
Milka Chocolate is great. When I was in Germany you can buy this in pretty much every shop. I find that you can buy a lot of the flavours in Tesco and Sainsbury's here.
I like Milk Chocolate with Nuts in it, so I had to try this. Although it stated it was Diet, it seemed to just have the same fat and calorie content as a normal bar of chocolate.
The wrapper is a nice purple colour and it has a picture of chocolate and Hazelnuts. The writing is in white and has the Milka logo on it, which is a purple Cow. The bar is 100g
Nutritional information per 100g
The bar is split into squares and these are easily broke up. The chocolate is a nice Milky chocolate which isn't too sweet and it has plenty of hazelnuts through the bar. The nuts are on the bottom of the bar and they taste roasted as well.
A 100g bar roughly costs 90p
A nice bar of chocolate that is better than most of the rest of Hazelnut Milk Chocolate bars out there.
My curiosity in testing out the majority of the Milka range, led me to accidentally buy this Diet Chocolate, I normally stay away from diet products dismissing them as less full in flavour than the originals but with this chocolate, I honestly wouldn't have noticed the difference because I only came across the "Diet" emblem at the top after eating it and it just tasted like normal Hazelnut flavoured chocolate to me.
The hazelnuts were on the bottom of the chocolate pieces and were rather large when compared to the ones in the block of Milka Earth which are more ground up. The nutty and chocolate taste was right up my street as I tend to find hazelnut and chocolate of most kinds very nice and consider it to be the best combination.
Unfortunately, I threw away the wrapper without looking what Diet effect the chocolate had and how many less calories it had in comparison to the regular variety, so I can't help you out much there but what I can tell you is that if you are worried about the diet version containing less flavour - don't be, it's delicious!
