Over the years, I have found myself growing slightly apart from white chocolate, which I used to love earlier. However, I do like a few chunks now and again for its creamy and sweet taste, and this Milka White Chocolate is a lovely good quality brand whilst also being good value.
A 100g bar of Milka White chocolate will cost you around £1 from the supermarket but I do see it sometimes on offer which will lower your price a little. Of course, this is by no means a luxury chocolate brand, but for something that tastes nice and is rather good quality, I think that this is a good deal. Of course there are supermarkets' own branded white chocolates which you can find for much cheaper but I find that those often taste flaky and sickly unlike this product. Altogether, this is a good value chocolate, especially so if you find it on promotion.
This is packaged in a purple wrapper (noticeably designed for the Milka brand) which is easy to keep hold of to wrap your chocolate in should you not finish it in one go. You can open this plastic wrapper from one end. There is nothing too distinct nor unpleasant about the packaging, I find, though of course a foil wrapper as you find in some other chocolate brands (for example Galaxy) could have been more useful in keeping it fresh. The chocolate itself is easy to break into chunks along the lines provided.
The Milka brand also supplies different varieties of chocolate for example milk chocolate so you have other options to buy from the brand if you are not a big fan of white chocolate. These are often for sale for the same price (£1)
The taste is really nice, smooth and creamy. It is rather sweet, yes, but not in a sickly way, and I don't often have more than a few chunks in one go anyway. I suppose it could make you feel sick if you had too much, as is with all chocolate. This white chocolate melts in your mouth really nicely and, as mentioned before, though it is not a luxury brand, it does taste very good and much better than supermarkets' own branded products by a long shot, so it is worth spending that little bit extra on this.
This chocolate also does well when I am using it for baking as it tastes particularly good as chunks in cookies and muffins.
Altogether, I think that this is a product worth buying especially if you like white chocolate, as it is of good quality and price at the same time. It is very affordable, especially on offer, and I would recommend it with 5 out of 5 dooyoo stars.
