Milky Bar Moments
Advantages: delicious, packaging can be recycled, bag can also be resealed
Disadvantages: Fattening and can become rather sickening
*~* The Product Itself *~*
I picked up a 175g bag of Nestle's Milkybar White Moments whilst perusing my local Asda. On offer at the moment for £1, I thought that this was an excellent opportunity to stock up on some treats for the regular 'movie nights' that my Fiance and I have which basically involve us watching tons of movies and pigging out... Result!
The yellow and white striped pouch containing the sweets is re-sealable. This is very useful considering that I think that most people would find it difficult to eat an entire bag in one go, so this means that the sweets will keep fresh for at least a few days.
Very reminiscent of galaxy minstrels, only the white chocolate alternative, the white moments are basically white chocolate encased in a white crispy sugar shell. According to the packaging the sweets contain all natural ingredients which is at least one good point to emphasis so as to compensate somewhat for all of those empty calories consumed.
The expiry date on the bag of these that I purchased yesterday is not until March 2011. Therefore, these sweets are long lasting and can be stored for that 'special occasion' if you wish to do so.

*~* My Opinion *~*
I love these sweets and find them to be extremely addictive. I have always been a fan of milkybar and enjoy many of the milkybar products in the range such as the desserts. These sweets are definitely a new addition to my list of scrumptious milkybar treats. The milkybar chocolate melts in the mouth and is very creamy with a nice consistency. Meanwhile, the sugary shell gives a nice crunch and these collaborate to produce a very nice, smooth sweet.
However, after eating a good few of these little chocolate filled ovals, I found them to be somewhat sickening. Therefore, I think that a bag could last a fair while, providing you with better value for money.
Being someone who is always conscious of doing my bit for the environment, I like the fact that the packaging can be recycled, as often this is an aspect that many brands neglect when packaging their products. So kudos to Nestle on this front.
*~* Overall *~*
These delicious sweets are great as a treat, but try not to over-indulge as they do become rather sickening as well as being fattening. Overall though, they are lovely and I much prefer these to their milk chocolate comparator, galaxy minstrels.
