This is a lovely idea, especially as a gift for a chocolate lover. Unfortunately I don't think many chocolate lovers would be very impressed with the package that you actually receive. For the £30 price, you receive a box which contains a notepad, certificate, recipe book, and catalogue of chocolates to choose your 10 'personalised' chocolates from. The catalogue is really a leaflet though, as there are just 40 to choose from (which includes chocolate dipped fruit slices!!) once you have chosen 10 you send off your selection, and within a couple of weeks your small box arrives in the post. The personalised bit is your name printed on a gold card stuck on the box. You can also if you wish add your name on their website, and your 10 choices will be named as a your box. I can't see the point in this at all, but you might aswell as your £30 has been spent on it! As for the actual chocolates. They were ok. Nothing special. Similar to thorntons truffles, though not quite as nicely flavoured. What you actually get is a selection of average chocolates costing £3 each! The notepad & recipe book, are like something from the bargain bin at the works. Its a shame as this was bought for me as a present, and its a nice idea in theory. In practise a total rip off.
Choose your very own personalised selection of sumptuous chocolates, have it named after you and registered on the 'Chocolate Foundation' database, and then sit back and enjoy the chocolates you've chosen!
