Kit Kat chunky were launched in 1999 and was a huge success, and since that time they are selling a massice 200,000 a day!

Kit kat chunky are very large in comparison to original kit kats, and have a very thick layer of chocolate covering a larger single wafer. Unlike a normal kit kat, that can be light and like eating air, the kit kat chunky is very substantial and very sweet. The chocolate is very thick as is the wafer inside and the taste is delicious.

The kit kat chunky peanut, is again a thick layer of chocolate surrounding a thick wafer, but with a layer of peanut butter on top. This is really sweet, and i found it quite sickly. The peanut butter wasnt particularly nice and this bar was a let down.

Recently they have also brought out a snack size, which has 2 mini bars inside, and a kit kat chunky king, which is even bigger than the normal kit kat chunky!

I find the wrapper practically the same as the smaller version of kit kat, but with the obvious chunky written across it. You can buy them in most stores, and they are about 58pence to buy.

The packaging is good and the wrapper is foil coated to keep the bars fresh.


Kit Kat chunky are very high in fat at 14grams and are 280 calories per bar, so be careful, as these are high amounts. The kit chunky peanut is 15.8 grams of fat and 269 calories per bar, so again high amount of fat and calories!
