I guess i should start this review by saying that i was never a big fan of the old Kit Kats. Don't get me wrong they were nice (they are chocolate after all), they just didn't feel like i was biting into anything.

Well now the humble Kit Kat has got big, so big in fact you won't get four fingers in a chunky - just the one. But what a finger it is.

The format is the same as the normal bar - a wafer interior with plain simple chocolate on the outside (unless you buy the slightly newer ppeanut or caramel flavours - but thats another review). The enlarged wafter is crispy and the chocolate covering is generous to satisfy even the most hard core chocco addicts out there. The flavour of this bar may be the same as the original - but the texture has changed no end - you have to bite chunks off this as opposed to feeling like your eating fresh air.

The simplicity of this bar is the foundations of its success. The size of it will appeal to chocolate addicts such as myself who need to feel like their biting into something, and those who don't will stick to the original bar for the same flavour.

I would recommend this bar to Kit kat lovers out there, although it does not top the ultimate chunky bar, the Yorkie.
