Nestle Kit Kat
Advantages: Crisp texture
Kit Kat has been around as a chocolate bar for all of my life, alongside a penguin busicuit bar it was one of the ever presents in my lunchbox as a child and I will always remember the advertising line "Have a break, have a kit kat" as if that was the done thing when you were doing your homework.
Nowadays you can buy Kit Kat in many different forms, there is the traditional two finger bar or the larger four finger option, they also do a chunky version as well as various one off varieties using dark chocolate or additional fillings and an orange chocolate flavour one.
The traditional Kit Kat is a wafer busicuit which is surrounded by lovely milk chocolate, personally I have never found the wafer to have that strong a taste however it does give the chocolate a nice crisp inside and a slightly crumbly texture.
Due to the way it is made there is always a little more chocolate at one end of the finger and for some srange reason I always try to start from the end with teh least chocolate, I remember once getting one where almost half the bar was solid chocolate and feeling like I got a really good deal when I might as well have just bought a solid piece of chocolate if that was what I wanted.
I do like these every so often and for some reason it goes really well with a cup of tea.
Summary: Chocolate wafer.
