Matchmakers were launched in 1968 and are manufactured by Nestlé which is a huge name in the world of confectionary and a whole range of other products. Originally Matchmakers were available in mint, orange and coffee flavour but have also been available in blackcurrant and strawberry flavour, both of which have since been ... My boyfriend loves chocolates. Last night we decided to watch a movie with Pringles and a box of Matchmatchers cos he loves them! The Packaging: The box is mainly purple and there is a photograph of the chocolates on the front of it and I am told that they are Nestle, Quality Street Matchmakers 'Cool Mint'. Other ... Although I never think of these as your typical box of Chocolates, they are Chocolates which are in a box, so there you go. These normally cost around the £2 mark for the 144g box of Chocolates. perhaps that bit expensive considering that you can get a bar of chocolate for cheaper and it is heavier, but you know how expensive ... These are some of my favourite chocolates in the whole world although they're a treat that I don't want to constantly eat throughout the year as they're really special and a great treat if you only have them on special occasions at times like Christmas and Easter. Matchmakers are long and thin sticks made from skimmed milk ... Read the complete review

I first encountered matchmakers as a young lad. I was born in 1970 and these were at toddler stage whilst I was still in my cot. At the time they were also a fraction of the size they are now. They are made by Nestle and they come in a few different flavours. The most popular is Mint. Other flavours have included orange, ... Read the complete review

Like all the best things in life, these Matchsticks are naughty but very nice. Containing more sugar than the average annual output of a small Carribean island, they are waist band expandingly more-ish. Its probably better to open a box in company, rather than gorge on them privately like I tend to. I know they're no good ... Read the complete review

Nestle matchmakers are those perfect after dinner mints and are one of the best selling chocolate mints coming after the after eights though of course. They are a really good idea though, they are made up of a kind of matchstick like shape, a really long and really thin crunchy mint chocolate stick which tastes very nice and ... Now Nestle Quality Street are very well known and Matchmakers are one of their products thats been going for years and years. I love Matchmakers but we only have them at Xmas for some reason which is mad because they're not very expensive and are so yummy. When we went shopping yesterday I saw some in Sainsburys because they are putting all their Xmas stuff out now so I brought a box of the orange ones because they're my faves. Matchmakers are long ... I'm actually chewing on these as I write this! Having remembered them for a majority of my life, I more associate them with nostalgia and when I see them in the stores as I did yesterday, it's a timely reminder that Christmas isn't too far away! Matchmakers come in a small flat tray of which there are two varieties, mint and ... Read the complete review

These are a big British classic, with the usual high quality that Nestle never fails to deliver, a great taste, texture and a price that makes them very good value for money. They are also terribly addicting, and it is very easy to finish off the whole box the first time. However, they are also quite unhealthy but there is plenty to go ... Read the complete review

'Matchmakers' are one of those chocolates you usually got as a gift, they seemed to be the perfect gift for anyone if you wanted to give chocolates; the gorgeous thin sticks, so crunchy and minty, full of flavour that made your mouth water. Coated in delicious 'Nestle' chocolate and boxed up in a fancy little box; what reason is there to ... Read the complete review

I bought these at Tesco last week. They were on sale for £1.79 and the best bit was that they were buy one get one free. SO at basically 90p a box it was certainly worth it. You can get these in 2 different flavours Cool Mint, which are great and Zingy Orange, which are ok, but always my 2nd choice in these. So ... Read the complete review

Ah chocolate, one of life's better points, who doesn't love chocolate? One of my favourite varieties has to be Nestle Matchmakers. These are not just chocolate, oh no, they contain little pieces of mint in a form like sugar, yum! These also come in an orange flavour which sound delicious but I haven't got round to trying them yet so I'll ... Read the complete review

My wife has a particular penchant for mint chocolate, and Mint Matchmakers are her favourite. I bought a box for Christmas last year, they were gone before I'd put the bulk of the shopping away! It's Christmas time... That means it's compulsory to receive and / or purchase at least one box of after dinner style chocolates. I was lucky enough to receive my chocolates as a gift, and they came in the form of Nestle Matchmakers. Now, if you're one of those who boycot Nestle I guess you may as well read no further as ...
