No I do not love anyone enough!!
Member Name: candy-pink
Advantages: Great tasting chocolates.
Disadvantages: High in calories and saturated fats.
Nestle produce many fine sweets and chocolates but none that compare with the mighty Rolo, Rolo`s have been around since 1971 and although I was not around then I have loved them for as long as I can remember.
The old advertising campaign used to ask "do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?" well I have to admit back in my school days we all used to give our last one to our then boyfriends or girlfriends but now the chocolates are all mine!!
Rolo`s come in a brown paper wrapper tubular in shape and they have an inner wrapping of golden foil, the sweets themselves are basically like a little chocolate cup filled with caramel and the Nestle chocolate and golden caramel work very, very well together.
In recent years the caramel has changed slightly in Rolo`s and although I did not think they could get any better they actually did and the new caramel is slightly less sweet and therefore they do not become sickly as quick meaning I can stuff my face with more of them.
You do have to take care in how you enjoy Rolo`s though because they are full of calories and saturated fat. Just eight of these chocolates have 220 calories and 7g of saturated fat so if you are dieting then these are a no go area.
A single tube which I think contains 12 Rolo`s will cost you around about 50 to 60p depending where you get them from but you can get a pack of five from Asda for only £1.36 saving you a small fortune.
Summary: Dont give anyone your last Rolo, keep them all for you!
