I LOVE ROLO SO MUCH I WOULD GIVE IT MY LAST ROLO!!

Disadvantages: DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE LAST ONE AWAY?????
When I was a little girl, I wasn't impressed by rolo's at all. They were too sophisticated for my immature taste buds, which at the time were more intrested in anything overly sweet and sticky.
Now I am older, I have to admit that Rolo are a weakness of mine. I think they offer a great confectionary experience. To me they offer so much more than a chocolate treat. They are the type of chocolates that require your undivided attention. In order to savour each delicious morsal.
The Rolo is manufactured by Nestle, however these chocolates were first introduced in the 30's by Mackintosh. Rolo comes in a cylinder shaped packet. This packet holds approx 12 Rolo sweets. The rolo's themselves are slightly cone shaped milk chocolates which have the most deliciously chewy caramel in the centre.
Rolo has quite a few dimentions to it's flavour. First you have the deliciously geneorous and sublime milk chocolate coating which melts effortlessly in the mouth. Then you have the creamy, sweet caramel flavour coming to the fore. The intense sweetness of the caramel balances perfectly with the richness of the chocolate coating.
The texture of the rolo is also perfect. The texture can be determind by your preference. If you would prefer a harder chocolate and a more solid caramel centre then I would put these chocolates into the fridge for a couple of hours before consuming. If like me you prefer to have a smoother chocolate with a runny and gooey caramel centre then leave them at room temperature for a while.
Everyone, from every generation knows the slogan that is associated with the rolo brand....'do you love anyone enough to give them your last rolo?'. This slogan has become, over time even more popular than the sweets themselves. People have proposed marriage by using a rolo as a prop. There is also a website dedicated to selling gold and silver plated rolos for ornamental purposes!!
Rolos are quite high in nutritional content. They offer a rather whopping 240 kcals per tube. There is also a unimpressive 10g of fat. I do think that this is reflected in the high quality of the product. I think that as part of a balanced diet there is no harm in having a packet of these now and again as a treat. However one should be careful not to over indulge as they are very fattening.
In conclusion I would certainly recommend these chocolates. They offer that little bit extra than your average run of the mill confectionary. They are very reasonable in price at around 50p and also they last a good while and are not gone in a couple of bites. I love rolo, infact I would give rolo my last rolo!!
Summary: WHAT MORE IS THERE TO SAY? THEY ARE ROLOLICIOUS!!!
