Advantages: The milk chocolate and toffee is brilliant
Disadvantages: People think you want to share them
I used to eat Nestle Rolos more when I was younger but I still enjoy them now and they are definitely suitable for all ages. A Rolo is a small chocolate cup or half barrel kind of shape filled with soft toffee. The Nestle milk chocolate tastes great and really combines well with the toffee in the centre. They are fairly chewy and once the chocolate has melted away in your mouth you are left with the sweet toffee which is exquisite. They are round in their shape but roughly probably measure one and half centimetres in height and width.
You are presented with your Rolos in a tube shape obviously because they are round, they are wrapped once with gold foil and then have a paper wrap on the outside which is brown with the name of the product written in bold red text, they have looked this way more or less since I started to eat them probably over twenty years ago. I really love the taste of these and have no trouble eating a whole packet very swiftly; nutritionally they don't seem any worse than other sweets or confectionery products containing about 246 calories and 10.6g of fat.
For a single packet you could probably expect to pay about 50 pence but like with many things if you buy them in a multipack you can make good savings, for example on the Tesco website currently you can purchase a packet of five tubes for £1.74. A good aspect with these is that you don't have to eat them all in one go, you can just use the foil paper to cover them back up and eat them at a later time although this is not really something I would consider, they do not last that long when I get a tube. Overall these are a traditional, nostalgic chocolate brand that I love to eat especially with a nice mug of tea as they melt wonderfully.
