I love chocolate and today I saw this Yorkie bar I hadn't seen before (No idea how it escaped my radar! lol). I have tried the original and liked it but I love fruity chocolate so at 52p a bar (available in all good shops) I was unable to resist it!

The Packaging:

Metallic purple/pink foil wrapper and with big lettering on the front I'm told it is Nestle Yorkie and that it's not for girls and there is a drawing on there of a girl crossed out and I'm told it is Raisin & Biscuit, and that it contains 332 calories a bar. On the back of the wrapper other information includes size (61g in this case), ingredients and a full nutritional breakdown is shown and contact details for Nestle are given. It's an easy opening packet and inside there are 6 large chunks of sweet smelling but smooth in appearance chunks of smooth light brown, milky looking chocolate.

The chocolate is lovely. Creamy, thick and it melts in the mouth.. There is a generous amount of soft and succulent raisins every chunk. They really do taste fruity and don't get lost in the chocolate but are tasty and taste fresh, plump and naturally sweet. The biscuit pieces add a little crunchiness throughout each piece of chocolate. they are small and scattered through and instead of having lots of flavour purely add an interesting texture to the proceedings.

Overall this is a lovely bar of chocolate full of quality. At first seeing it cost 52p a bar I did think it more pricey than I'd normally pay but for the amount of good quality chocolate you get I actually think it offers great value for your pennies. Easy to eat, melts in the mouth (not in the hands) it not too sweet and just right for me! I love it!
