I try a lot of "powerbars" since I find this very handy if I have a field trip and don't want to save space in my backpack - easier to have a power bar than 3 sandwiches - there is more room for other stuff plus the whole thing is lighter and anyway it all comes down to how much "energy" you consume so these bars are more than welcome.
This power bar is from Nestle and I am quite fond on Nestle products - they usually taste good. I should mention that picture that is associated with the title of this review is slightly wrong since the title is on Chocolate bar and the picture is on Chocolate Crisp bar. I am reviewing a bar that matches the title not the picture so the regular Chocolate one.
This bar is chocolate flavoured and that is true to some extent - I would describe it more as a dry (this dry taste is common for all power bars, really hope they will make one some day that will taste better) gingerbread biscuit like tasting bar dipped in chocolate which was disappointing in my case since I am not fond on gingerbread biscuit (if you are you will find it satisfactory).
The bar is big enough - it was to big for me - I was having trouble finishing it - true I am a small person in all views, but if you are an athlete or have more intense work out you should not have problems with that.
It satisfies what it should, you have lots of energy and do not feel hunger for quit some time so it really is ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities.

All in all a good power bar but not to my taste, I will try out different flavours from this brand for sure but won't be buying this one again (personal dislike of the gingerbread flavour)
