The truffles are roughly the size of a 10p piece, and are a pale pink colour with a coating of ivory dust. They are absolutely beautiful, and smell divinely of sweet chocolate and booze.
The outer shell is made of chocolate and is thick and crunchy, very substantial to bite into. The chocolate is not a dark or milk variety but more of a white chocolate taste. I cannot taste any food dye that may have been used to get the pink colour.

With a price tag of around £9.99 for a box of these truffles, they are not an everyday buy (for the majority of us that is). The packaging is beautiful. A pretty pink box with gold swirls and gold and pink writing. Prestat is a well-known chocolate maker, who I believe have the title of chocolate maker to the Royals. But hey, don't quote me on that.
