Ritter Sport is often perceived as this foreign utopian chocolate and to some extent that is true. Indeed the many different Ritter Sport flavour varieties only seem to be accessible outside of the UK (particularly Germany) I had the fortune of visiting Germany last week and felt a wave of nostalgia upon buying this brand of chocolate. The chocolate of my childhood holidays that is.
Butter Biscuit Ritter Sport provides not only the fantastic taste of ritter sport chocolate but adds that little crunch required, giving an extra dimension of Texture. The smooth yet crunchy buttery biscuit immersed in the chocolately goodness provides the perfect after school snack or indulgence during those work lunch breaks.
The butter biscuit provides a good means to top up the blood sugars and the nature and design of the Ritter Sport packaging provides the consumer with a relatively portable (the 100g packs can happily fit into a jacket pocket) and sterdy chocolate which is unlikely to melt unless of course the heat heat which is exposed to is excessive.
I would personally place this flavour of Ritter sport over others due to my love for the biscuity texture. However, there are some drawbacks. Along with the biscuity texture comes a dry mouth. As well as this, as mentiones, the accessibility of this flavour in the Uk is very limited. One can purchase this flavour off amazon at an elevated cost due to delivery. Having said that, I would personally recommending spending that little bit extra in order to taste this wonderfdul flavour.
Smooth milk chocolate with a butter biscuit and fine cocoa cream filling. Made in Germany. 100g bar.
