The product name is written at the top of each side of the box in orange peel style writing which stands out well against the purple background. Through the box you can see the chocolate orange in shiny pink foil. Opening the chocolate orange brings the familiar problem - how to get the segments apart! Tap it, whack it, bang it, whichever way to break them apart works!! With this variety of the orang...more

As a rule I can take or leave chocolate, but from time to time like most people I end up with a real craving for some and recently while shopping in Tesco this was the case! Whether it was down to the fact I was picking up some little stocking fillers from the Christmas confectionary aisle I am not sure, but in front of me was a large amount of Terry's Chocolate Oranges. They were on offer, two for a fiver so I chose one as a present and one for me. Terry's chocolate orange was introduced in the 1930's and there is now a good variety of chocolate oranges: Original, Mint, Popping Candy, Honeycomb Crunch, Snowball and Hazelnut. Today I am reviewing the popping ...  Read the complete review

TERRY'S CHOCOLATE ORANGE WITH POPPING CANDY These limited edition versions of the original Terry's Chocolate Orange are in the shops now for the Christmas period: I have bought mine from the local Sainsbury's on a special offer of 3 for the price of two, and they cost around £3 each singly. This version comes in the usual sized cubed box, with the orange-shaped chocolates inside, only this time the box is pink. I have been very good and put two away for Santa to bring later in the year, however I felt it was my duty as a mother to test out the third one, particularly as it was free. Opening the box, inside there is the usual ...  Read the complete review

I absolutely LOVE orange chocolate, especially terry's! They have a few types of these now of which being snowball, dark, milk and minty, and then this is the latest i believe! I only saw this in the last few months near Christmas time and decided to grab some as stocking fillers! These were in the Poundshop where i got them, but they are also in most supermarkets for roughly about £2.00. The packaging of this product is the same as all of the oranges, but with a different coloured box. The box of this is a purply pinkish colour and in a distinctive 'too tall to be a square and too short to be a rectangle' box. Is has holes in 3 sides of the box so you can ...  Read the complete review

Everyone knows that the run up to christmas means the shops start selling loads of different chocolate and sweet products, so whilst out buying christmas presents I saw this gorgeous looking terry's chocolate orange on the shelf. I immediatly thought that it would make an ideal stocking filler but obviously it was my duty to try the product first, (serious chocoholic talking). The first thing that caught my attention about this particular chocolate orange is the box, it's a dark purple with multi-coloured bits of candy which are exploding from the center, which is a circular hole in the middle so you can see the chocolate within. Upon opening ...  Read the complete review

Terry's Chocolate Orange Popping Candy: It's blatantly mine! (461 words)

Every Christmas it's a tradition to receive an orange in my stocking. Usually it's a real one but in recent years I have been receiving a Terry's Chocolate Orange. Now putting aside the fact that I am 25 years old and still receiving a stocking(!), the 'orange' started off as the classic version but since different types have been brought out I have been receiving these. I had had dark, white, snowball and minty up until last Christmas, though apparently there have been many varieties such as Easter egg, Carte D'or, Siesta(?) and Lemon. I don't recall any of these so I think these must be American varieties. Fact time! Terry's Chocolate Orange is British and ...  Read the complete review
