At Xmas time I came across an offer for Terry's Chocolate Oranges in Morrison's, buy 3 for £2 so I promptly popped 3 in my trolley. Unfortunately I forgot about them and never gave them away to anyone so I'm left with the whole 3 to eat. Not a bad thing I hear you say but it's already March and I've barely made an impact on the first ... Read the complete review

I have had one of these every Christmas since the year dot. I bet you have too! The difference is, whether you are polite or otherwise enough to say "hmmm, perhaps we could have something different this year, as I really have gone off these since I was a child". Normally the said chocolate orange gets ... Read the complete review

You get this in a Bar version, which costs about 45p or the larger one, which is about £2, but sometimes can be found for £1 admittedly not that often. I don't often get the larger one. Not sure why, as it would be nice to nibble on a segment now and again, but we have the Bars in Multipacks often in the house. You can get ... Read the complete review

Seeing as Easter is just around the corner, it is time to start buying chocolate again. Groans. I still have a huge box of Roses to get through from Christmas, but if you fancy a little more refined rather than the typical Easter egg, why not plump for a Terry's Chocolate Orange. With a tv ad campaign fronted by Dawn French, these ... Read the complete review

mmmmmmm as soon as you unwrap the foil an intense choclate orange smell invades your nose and leaves your mouth watering. At first sight the the though of eating a tennis size ball of chocolate seems quite daunting, but upon opening it it divides into segments, that is assuming you can get the thing to break into segments.Which brings me to ... I have to admit before I write this review that I did not go out and buy this Terr's chocolate orange as it was goven to me by a family member. Therefore I do not know how much they were. I do know, however that it was on offer (buy two get a third free). For some reason, I only got two small boxes of chocolate this year, now when ... Read the complete review

Post-Christmas, and everyone's left with at least a few of the following (especially those of us over 25) - socks, a jumper you are unlikely to wear (unless the giver visits, of course), and a chocolate orange. It's a Christmas staple, and my Yuletide would be duller without it, even though I rarely eat orange flavoured chocolate outside ... Read the complete review

Terrys Chocolate Orange is something I always get bought at Xmas time, but to this day I love them. They have recently brought out a white chocolate version which does intrigue me as to how that will taste The look? The new varieties of this ball (previously also bars were available) shaped treat prompted this review, as I am now addicted to getting the white chocolate version and the 'popping candy' version which I think are realtively new. Christmas just wouldn't be christmas without the traditional stocking filler of a Terrys Chocolate Orange, a lovely big ball of chocolate segmented into wedges that look just like the segments of an orange! Not many people know this, but the Chocolate Orange was actually based on an earlier Terrys product, the chocolate apple, which was ... Read the complete review

So you can purchase chocolate in all shapes and forms, all textures and flavours, but my favourite 'different' chocolate has to be Terry's Chocolate Orange. I didn't know this before starting this review but this product dates back to the 1920's when a Chocolate Apple (Yes Apple) was produced. In the 1930's a Chocolate Orange was added & proved to be far more popular and the Apple was phased out in 1954. Up until the 30th of September 2005, the range was made in the Terry's ... I'm not sure why people want their chocolate to not taste like chocolate. Mixing it with mint, coffee, strawberry or rasberry. I can almost understand it if the extra flavourings are subtly but in quite a few cases the chocolate tastes is bearly there.
