      Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!

I brought me and my 2 sisters a Reindeer lolly in Thortons the other day because they looked so cute sitting next to the till, I wasn't sure if I really wanted one because I'm not mad keen on Thorntons chocolate but the lolly was delish!

The chocolate reindeer is on a thin round stick and I was happy that the stick doesn't go too far through the chocolate because it made it a lot easier to eat. Last year I remember buying some Santa lollies from Sainsburys and the stick went all the way up to the top of his hat, that was stupid because it meant the kids I brought them for had to have the Santa pulled off the stick in pieces and that ruined the look of their lolly!

This one is made of solid chocolate and it's a lovely soft milk chocolate. The nose and eyes of the reindeer and done in dark chocolate but there's only a tiny bit on there so you can't taste that they are made of a different chocolate. The chocolate melts dead quick once it's in your mouth and is a lot creamier I think than a lot of Thorntons chocolate.

The lolly is mega sweet, sweeter even that Cadburys chocolate I reckon and that's saying something! The lolly is quite long but not very thick so even though it's so sweet and VERY chocolatey tasting I didn't think it ended up being sickly at all.

I loved the lolly actually and normally I don't like stuff like this. Being on a stick made it a bit more interesting than eating an actual chocolate and I thought the chocolate tasted very high quality. I was surprised because normally I think you pay for the name and trendy boxes in Thorntons, but this lolly that's been made for kids is better quality than a lot of the chocolates for adults they sell! lol

The lolly was 69p and that's a bit dear I reckon for a lolly that's gone in 3 mouthfuls but sometimes I don't mind being ripped off!!! lol It's all part of the Xmas spirit, spending bucket loads of cash on stuff that you could get loads cheaper at any other time of year!
