Delicious - they have converted me to liking white chocolate!

      ===My Opinion===

I have always loved Kit Kat but have never tried any other variation before apart form the standard milk chocolate one.

These are long established chocolate bars in the form of four finger (or sometimes two) and have ben on sale since the 1930s.

In the USA Kit Kat is made by Hersheys under licence - and they are the ones who make these white chocolate versions.

I have no idea why other countries seem to get more varieties of choclate bars than we do.

This White Kit Kat is exactly the same size as the regular one - the foiled packet is a creamy white colour and it has the red branding on the front with the 'Kit Kat' name being written in white.

My son bought these from a speciality website (American Soda) that focuses on American food and candies - but they can be purchases from Amazon.

Now I have never bee a lover of white chocolate as I find it a bi t sweet and sickly. But having been given this new version of Kit Kat to try it seemed churlish to refuse.

It looks just like a normal Kit Kat but with a thickish layer of white chocolate.

The smell is gorgeous and creamy which cover the wafer layers inside. I had planned to just eat one finger at a tine and keep the rest for later - but it was so gorgeous I ate it all in one sitting.

The chocolate is not so sugary and sweet as the white chocolate we get in the UK - think Milky Bar which is what I always think of when I imagine white chocolate.

It is a shame that these are not sold more widely in the UK as these have definitely changed my opinion of white chocolate products. I am not sure if white Kit Kats are sold over in Britain on a regular seasonal basis or not.

Coming up to Christmas white chocolate items are a great change to have and the Hershey's website even has some recipes involving Kit Kats.

This is the first bar of any sort made by Hersheys that I have tried and I will be happy to try some more now.

My son often gets orders form American Soda so I shall have to see what other trans-Atlantic treats they have to offer me.

If you get the chance definitely try a white chocolate Kit Kat - the sweet chocolate compliment the crispy wafer filling and makes a super snack with a cup of tea.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        creamy, yummy chocolate.

        Introduction

Well, here we are yet again talking about an old childhood classic chocolate bar being- made-over as it were. Now instead of this old time fav having a tempting milk chocolate coating they have now gone and put something more irresistible on, this would be the white chocolate coating. This product could just be summed up into one word: Yummmmmy. However, I'm going to expand on this a bit.

        The Bar itself
With the wafer crispness in the inside and the smooth, melts in your mouth white chocolate coating i think only one thing is left to be said: Kit Kat you done it again.
I know I'm going on about the white chocolate being the bee's knees, and all that but I'm talking from a perspective that prefers white chocolate to any other.
As soon as you unwrap the little fingers from it's enclosed space the aroma of light white creamy chocolate entices you, this is the moment when you know it's too late- you can't turn back. Nothing will get in your path- and you must eat those two crispy fingers (I am obviously talking about the two finger packs, if you hadn't already established that). The white creaminess inside the bar coinciding with the wafers is absolutely divine and the wafer biscuits were indeed as crisp as biscuits should be.

So, what sort of audience is this for?

Well, all sort of ages really. I think this sort of chocolate bar could be given to a small child, or even possibly to a baby, obviously is its well mashed up. White chocolate is better for babies better than the other chocolates as white chocolate goes down better and when sucked upon doesn't give a sharp taste. But gives a smooth flavour which isn't over powering for the child. Obviously, the chocolate is ideal for adults, male and female... So eat away!

        Time for some education?

KitKat has come a long way since it's introductions to us in 1935, and for what a long time we have been eating kitkats. However, no modification like this has been known to me- although i keep very quiet when it comes to the chocolate world. Kitkat has since introduced a chunkier version, for those i tend to feel look like Phil Mitchell, as it's a very masculine bar.

The I Factor... (Irresistible, of course!)
The good think about the two finger bars is that after the first white chocolate bar you really feel as though it would be such a disappointment if that moment was over- and then you look down and find that it isn't actually over- you have another white, crispy bar looking up at you, saying "eat me".

        Conclusion!

I really feel as though making a white bar was the right decision for them. As a lot of people prefer the white kit Kat to the milk and the dark, everyone is different obviously. And this is what they must have thought of, they wanted that childhood favourite brand to accommodate for all ages, sizes and likes. For 50p (depending on where you go), well this is certainly one product that i would have again...
