 Walt Disney World Resort Florida in general ... most famous for its theme parks. Owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts segment of The Walt Disney Company, it is located in Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake, Florida, outside the city limits of Orlando. Construction began in 1967, less than a year after Walt Disney's death. It opened on October 1, 1971, as the Magic Kingdom, and since has added Epcot October 1 1982, Disney-MGM Studios May 1, 1989 and Disney's Animal Kingdom April 22, 1998 theme parks. In addition to the four main theme parks, the resort contains two water parks, six golf courses, a sports complex, an auto race track, twenty resort hotels and numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings. It even has its own fire department. what is about disneyworld?! You are never too old for it and it is the one place on earth where you forget that there is anything bad going on. not that i am on a political mission on behalf of disneyworld! as a 23 year old male, when i tell people that i still go there they think i am mad! but i dont care. i love florida in general but i would never go there without making a trip to disneyworld. there is so much to do and when you think how much a trip to alton towers is, the price for tickets to the funnest place on earth is quite justified out of all the parks that make up the resort, my favourite is epcot. this is one more suited to adults as the ...

The best place on earth. My family just love every thing about Disney. We have never had any bad expireances at Disney and we visit at least twice a year. You can get from park to park by the shuttle service Disney provide free of charge and when at the parks theres a lots to see & do. For the young kids take them on the Buzz Light Year Ride. & let them meet all their Disney freinds, buy the kids an autograph book then they can get the characters to sign it the kids will love taking the book in school to talk about at show & tell times. We have just returned from a 2 and a half week adventure in Florida and, whilst there is lots to see and do there, no trip to Florida would be complete without visiting the No.1 vacation destination in the world……'DisneyWorld'. DisneyWorld covers an awesome 47 square miles and they are expanding all the time.
