Advantages: luxurious, deepens tan, moisturises

Disadvantages: can lok like an orange

When I was in Italy this year I found my Clarins after-sun in one of the boutiques.

After the first day in the sun I had a cold shower and applied the cream. It goes on like silk and melts into your skin like butter. Was really lovely and I felt like I was being pampered. The next morning I woke up and looked quiet brown. Not bad for the first day.

Every day I used it, remembering to wash my hands afterwards and my tan got darker and darker. After two weeks I was really brown and I returned home a happy woman.

Then the problems began. Here in England the lack of sun caused my tan to fade. I carried on applying the smooth, cold, cream but instead of becoming brown I was turning orange. It was awful.

Then the worst thing ever happened.....It began to crack. I looked like an orange tortoise. Everytime I had a bath I left a ring of orange skin around the bath.

Of course It was not due to the product it was because I used it everyday whether I was in the sun or not.

So if anyone is planning to buy this product only use it as an aftersun and not a self tanning product. It really moisturises and deepens your tan but beware that you don't get tangoed.
