Advantages: Smells lovely, moisturising.

Disadvantages: Too expensive.

Anyone who has previously read some of my views may well be aware that I am a huge Clarins fan, I have a few staples which I use all the time, I also try and buy one new product every month to try. Although I usually buy my Clarins from a local beauty salon they don't carry a huge range of products, so on a recent trip to Debenhams I decided to have a look at the Clarins counter. I spotted Eau Ressourcante Bath and Shower Milk, my Mum uses the Eau Ressoucante Spray which smells lovely so I decided to buy it. A 150ml bottle costs £18 which is obviously expensive, I had some money left on a gift card though so I didn't feel too bad about buying it as a treat.

The Claim: "Cleanses, eases tension and delicately scents skin. You'll love its gentle cleansing base and aromatic essential oils with treatment benefits. This ultra-gentle, pH-neutral formula thoroughly cleanses and is suitable for those with sensitive skin. It helps maintain skin's moisture balance and leaves it feeling soft and fresh, delicately scented. It enhances an overall feeling of relaxation".

The bottle is a very simple design, as Clarins packaging usually is, the main body is a white oval, with a white flip cap top, the bottle sits upside down which is effective for ensuring all the product is used which is something I'm glad of at £18 a bottle! There a touches of blue and silver on the packaging which I think gives quite a natural water feel to the product as well as making it simple but stylish.

The Bath and Shower Milk is very runny, making it very easy to waste, I've often found myself trying to get some off the bottom of the shower floor as it does tend to just slop off whatever I try to use to wash myself with, usually a body puff. I have found the Milk easier to use with exfoliation gloves as I can position my hand in the right position to ensure I don't miss the Milk coming out of the bottle.

Although I usually prefer to shower than bath, I have used this in the bath and found it a little difficult. It's impossible to wash yourself with the Bath and Shower Milk in the bath because as soon as you put the Milk under water to rub on your skin it disperses into the bath water because of the runny consistency. However, when this does happen there's a lovely scent which lingers in the bath water and on your skin once you get out of bath, I can't help feeling it's a bit of a waste of an expensive product though.

After using Eau Ressourcante Bath and Shower Milk my skin does feel very soft and moisturised, as well as carrying a gorgeous scent. The Milk is very gentle and does leave me feeling fresh but I can't help thinking it's a little overpriced for what is essentially something to wash with.

I would recommend Eau Ressourcante Bath and Shower Milk to anyone who has vouchers/ is offered a free gift or just generally has a lot of money. For the average person though, although a luxury is nice every so often and it does smell very feminine and subtle, it's not a shower product which could be used continually as it just costs too much.

Summary: 4/5 a nice product but over- priced.
