This was yet another one of my birthday pressies and believe me, with a birthday in January and getting closer to 40 every year, I need little treats like this!! I do love Clarins products and although I often use cheaper products for soaps and shower gels, I do like to splash out and use Clarins for skin care on my face. One product that I have been using for a while is the Cleansing Milk with Gentian. It claims to gently cleanse without irritating the skin. Bottle ======= The cleanser comes in an opaque plastic bottle with a white and gold trimmed flip open cap. Magazines and tv programmes remind us constantly that regular cleansing is an essential part of everyone's day-to-day skin care routine. This may very well be true, but if you are pushed for time and trying to get the children ready for school or yourself ready for work, it can be hard to find the necessary time, never mind a suitable product! Except in periods of severe economic downturn (i.e. I'm broke) when I've had to learn to love whatever the supermarket had that was cheap, I've been using Clarins Cleansing Milk for about thirteen years, so you could say I'm a fan. There's a version for oily and combination skin, and another for dry or normal skin, so be sure you get the right one. I use the one for dry or normal skin. Although Clarins is quite pricey, my mother has always sworn by their products. Therefore as I was growing up I have watched her use their products, and when my time came I bought them myself. Whereas I am not convinced by their cosmetics range, their skin care ranges are fantastic! Great on the skin!
