More bang for your buck (Clarins Cleansing Milk)

Advantages: Reasonable Price, Pleasant smell, Gentle on eyes

Disadvantages: Suction method, Use more product than other brands

I have been using the Gentian cleanser for combination skin on and off now for about 5 years, I always seem to go back to it even though sometimes I get a little annoyed with the slower process of using suction instead of rubbing. It has a pleasant fragrance and the price is very reasonable when compared to products of similar quality. The other advantage of using this product is that is quite safe to use around the eye area and it won't sting if you miss. Now I always use a separate eye makeup remover but it is great to not have to worry about getting cleanser in my eyes when cupping my hands all over my face!
One thing that causes me to look at other cleansers from time to time is the fact that I seem to use more of this cleanser than other brands. Because the product is warmed in the palms before application there is a tendancy to use more. Other brands that are rubbed on the face are only applied in an amount sufficient to cover the face, when using this product I seem to need more to cover my face. I would go through a 250ml bottle in 6-7 weeks using it morning and night, I have managed to get 12-14 weeks out of other brands in the past. But when the price is weighed up, this seems trivial.
As for results, my skin certainly does feel cleansed with no film or residue and there is no tight or dry feeling afterwards.
