I have been using Clarins' Everlasting Foundation 030 for about 2 years now and I still haven't found a base that compliments my skin as well as this. I have freckly combination skin, where the my cheeks are dry and my t-zones get very oily throughout the day. Most foundations in the past have been too heavy for my skin so it looks caked on or they have been too sheer so doesn't cover enough of the freckles on my face.
Everlasting Foundation doesn't cover all the freckles but has done a real good job and it makes my skin look healthy rather than completely made up.
The smell is really pleasant too (it reminds me of watermelons) so that helps when applying it on.
Another thing I have problems with when finding foundations in the past, was that there didn't seem to be a shade that matched my skin properly because they were either too yellow(I end looking jaundiced) or they were too pink(making me look ridiculous). I have very pale skin too so being able to find a tone that suited me was such a relief.
As for the lasting effect, it could be better but then they would have to make it thicker etc. If you are going to be blowing your nose constantly, then no it will not stay on all day. But I had this on, worked a 12hour shift, then went to Body Combat(where i worked up a great deal of sweat) and when I went home, there was still foundation on and it wasn't patchy so i wasn't looking ridiculous.
